Ground Pork & Apple Breakfast Patties

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of ground pork
  • 1/2 cup of yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 11/2cups of the finely chopped  organic apple of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper

Directions:

In a large bowl mix the ground pork, the yellow onion, the finely chopped organic apple, and the seasonings. This should make eight patties. Heat a skillet and add a tablespoon of either organic avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil and cook them until they’re no longer pink in the middle and nice and crispy on the outside. These go really well with eggs or sweet potatoes or some sauteed kale.
